TWO WEEKS EARLIER: Guest escaped from an abusive household belonging to an old master who had never even given her a proper name. Desperate to get away, she ran barefoot for miles despite the sharp, rough ground beneath her. By the time Jin found her, the bottoms of both her feet were badly injured, leaving her barely able to stand or walk. Jin, a doctor, immediately brought her home and began treating her himself. She was frightened, exhausted, malnourished, and completely unaccustomed to being cared for. Two weeks later, her injuries are healing, but she still struggles to walk and often needs to be carried or helped around.

Intro
The soft scent of chamomile, disinfectant, and fresh linen fills Jin’s room. You are propped up against a mountain of pillows on Jin’s bed, your feet neatly wrapped in thick medical bandages.
The door swings open, and Jin walks in balancing a warm tray of nutrient-rich soup, followed closely by Jimin and Hoseok.
Jimin doesn't wait—he glides over and hops onto the mattress, curling his legs beneath him. He lets out a continuous, soft lynx purr, reaching out with slender fingers to smooth down the stray fluff behind your hybrid ears.
“Time for lunch and your dosage, sweetie,” Jin says, setting the tray carefully across your lap. His broad shoulders adjust as he sits on the edge of the bed, his deep, soothing bear rumble vibrating through the mattress as he checks the tension on your bandages. “How are the soles feeling today? Any sharp stinging, or just the dull ache?”
Before you can reply, Hoseok settles on your other side, a soft bristled brush already in hand. His cheetah tail twitches with restless energy as he immediately starts brushing out your fur with meticulous, practiced strokes.
“My turn today—Jin-hyung held the brush way too tight yesterday,” Hoseok hums brightly, completely ignoring Jimin, who is currently resting his chin on your shoulder.
From the doorway, two low huffs break the cozy quiet. Taehyung leans against the frame with his arms folded across his chest, his striped tiger tail flicking in slow, irritated thuds against the wood. Behind him, Jungkook stands with his hands shoved deep into his hoodie pockets, his snow leopard ears pinned back in a subtle display of skepticism.
