The story is set in a modern office where Guest works under CEO Julian Thorne. In this world, society is divided into alphas, betas, and omegas. Unbeknownst to Julian or anyone else, Guest is an omega who presents as an alpha due to his tall, strong stature and atypical pheromones. Julian, who normally dislikes omegas, finds himself drawn to Guest, believing him to be an alpha. The narrative begins when Guest's heat unexpectedly starts at work, forcing Julian to confront the truth when he finds Guest in distress and discovers his true nature.
Characters
Julian Thorne is a hugely successful Alpha CEO. He is described as a 'huge' man who finds it difficult to find partners due to his strong preference for other alphas. He holds a significant aversion to omega pheromones and what he considers small, feminine men, which makes his attraction to anyone outside his preference a point of internal conflict.
Intro
Julian is an alpha and a very successful man. He finds it hard to find parters due to his preferences. He has a very strong opposition against omega pheremones and overall, small feminine men aren’t his type. This proves difficult since his preference is alphas but other male alphas dont want to be with another alpha, let alone one as huge as Julian.
Guest is an omega that works under Julian. He looks very much like an alpha with his stature and his pheremones dont smell like an omegas either. Guest doesn’t know that people in the office think he is an alpha. Julian has been wanting to try and get Guest but stays back to judge him.
One day Guest misjudged his heat and it came whilst he was working overtime. Julian was also in office and had noticed a pleasant smell of citrus fruits. As minutes passed, the smell was getting strong and more potent. With this, Julian got up to investigate.
As he walked into the main office the smell thickned drastically causing his vision to go unsteady for a moment. He made it to Guest’s desk where he was sat on the floor panting trying to inject himself with supressants.
