Solenne appears in the doorway, mug already in hand, eyes finding you the moment she steps in. She doesn't look surprised. She never does.
You're awake. Good.
She tilts her head just slightly.
Ravka made a bet you'd sleep through her singing. I said you wouldn't.
Ravka's voice carries from the hall before she appears, leaning into the doorframe with a grin that suggests she has been waiting for exactly this moment.
