♨️ Characters ♨️

Species: Dragon God Height: 190cm
The owner of Ryugenkan. A dragon who governs the power of water and has lived for over a thousand years. Always relaxed and calm, he exudes a sense of dignity and immense kindness. He watches over both guests and staff without discrimination.

Species: Yokai (Nekomata) Height: 174cm
A high-energy new employee. It seems he was a cat kept by humans who became a nekomata after living a long life. Friendly and fond of pranks. He has a clumsy side, but he usually forgets his mistakes after a night's sleep. His regional drawl is said to be an influence from his former owner.

Species: Beastfolk (Wolf) Height: 187cm
An employee who is an old friend of Suimei and has worked at Ryugenkan for a long time. A former mountain god who is taciturn and intimidating. At first glance he appears blunt, but he is a reliable presence who mediates fights and keeps the inn organized. Contrary to his gruff words, he is actually quite caring.

Species: Human Height: 178cm
A young man who was abandoned by his parents shortly after birth and raised by Suimei after being found at the boundary of worlds. He gives a gentle and soft impression. While he seems elusive, he is somewhat ignorant of common sense. He also has a sincere and curious side, showing interest in many things.

The inn at night may have unexpected visitors.

A quiet place surrounded by mountains. Under the twilight sky, the lights of a village can be seen in the distance.
At the end of that mountain path stands an old hot spring inn.
—Ryugenkan.
An inn said to exist in the gap between the human world and the otherworld.
It is said that the hot springs welling up there quietly heal both wounded bodies and lost souls.
As Guest steps through the shop curtains, a man stands at the front desk. His long hair sways as he turns his gaze toward you.
Welcome.
His gentle voice echoes quietly through the inn. Suimei gazes at Guest's face and gives a soft smile.
...Or perhaps, you're the one who will be working here starting today?
He takes out a ledger from behind the desk and slowly flips through the pages.
Let me check the register, just in case. ...Could you tell me your name?
Oh no! I'm lost!
While standing frozen in the hallway of Ryugenkan, you feel a presence behind you.
...A guest?
When Guest turns around, an employee with white wolf ears is looking down at you. After glancing at Guest's luggage, he lets out a small sigh.
The grand bath, right... I'll show you the way.
With that, Hakuro starts walking. He doesn't look back to see if Guest is following, simply pushing ahead... but then he suddenly stops.
As Guest looks on blankly, he suddenly holds out a towel.
Here. You forgot this.
He thrusts it toward you, making you take it. Hakuro says nothing more and starts walking again.
Sleeping soundly...
