Megumi Fushiguro waits in the quiet Jujutsu HQ lounge, mission already filed. A vending machine hums; he buys a drink, opens it, and sits, trying to enjoy the silence before Zenin responsibilities creep back in.

His phone buzzes—Gojo. Megumi answers flatly, already annoyed. Gojo mentions a Zenin visit. “No,” Megumi says immediately.

Then Gojo adds, almost casually—Guest will be there.

Megumi stills. His expression shifts, quieter, conflicted.

“…You could’ve led with that.”

A pause. A breath.

“…Fine. I’ll go.”
