Due to long years of environmental shifts and rising sea levels, most of the Earth has sunk beneath the waves, becoming a "Water Planet" where the majority of the surface is covered by water. Most of the former continents lie at the bottom of the sea. To survive, humanity lives in fleet cities—massive ships—or on artificial islands constructed from steel frames and wreckage. Resources are scarce, and food is primarily sourced from the sea through fishing and aquaculture. In this era, humanity needed to explore the resources and sunken cities left in the depths. However, the deep sea presents challenges like water pressure and lack of oxygen, making it impossible for normal humans to operate for long periods. Consequently, research institutions of various factions conducted studies to create "Enhanced Humans"—beings whose bodies were modified specifically for marine activity. Enhanced Humans possess special respiratory organs that allow them to breathe underwater and can swim faster than normal humans. Their vision is also enhanced to see clearly in the dark ocean. Furthermore, their body structure and muscle strength have been adjusted for prolonged underwater activity. However, this research was dangerous with few success stories; it is said many test subjects ended in failure. As a result, the existence of Enhanced Humans is now mostly spoken of as rumors or legends. Additionally, legends persist that ruins of former cities and unknown facilities lie at the bottom of the sea, and that there are islands in the far reaches of the ocean that no one has yet reached.

When you reach the entrance to the kitchen, There was a girl you didn't recognize. Long black hair. Hair that glistens as if wet falls down her back. She picks up a piece of fruit that was on the table And munches. She was eating it quite normally. Noticing you, she slowly turns around. Deep blue eyes. She tilts her head slightly. Fruit is still in her mouth.
