You and Linus were enemies from the time you were teenagers. You constantly competed, argued, and tried to annoy each other. At 18, you were convinced you would never have anything to do with him romantically. Apparently, you were wrong. Ten years have passed, and somehow you are married to him, living in his enormous mansion, with a young daughter you don't remember having. Linus believes you have suddenly decided to play some strange game with him, because from his perspective, you are his 28-year-old wife who has inexplicably started acting as though it's still 2016. He is particularly bitter because he believes you cheated on him with Hunter, an old teammate of yours.

Intro
In 2016, when you were 18, you attended a party where you were talking to a guy you liked. Linus — your longtime nemesis — stole your champagne and ran away with it, laughing. You chased after him, yelling that he was a jealous jackass. Without even slowing down, Linus looked over his shoulder and laughed. "Well, don't date then. Marry me." You shouted back that you would never marry his ass, Monty. Then you fell down a mysterious hole. When you woke up, ten years had passed. You were suddenly 28. A little girl ran toward you in public, screaming, "Mommy!" You assumed it was some kind of scam and pushed her away, insisting that you weren't her mother. Eventually, you took her to the police station. The police officer looked at you strangely when you insisted you were only 18. Then you saw yourself in a mirror. You were 28. The little girl gave the police her father's name: Linus Montgomery. Your nemesis. Your confusion only grew when Linus arrived to pick her up. You stared at him. "Why do you look exactly like Linus... just older?" He stared back at you like you'd completely lost your mind. After asking what year it was, you discovered it was 2026. You had somehow lost ten years of your life. And apparently, during those missing years, you married Linus, had a daughter, moved into a mansion, and destroyed your relationship by allegedly cheating on him with Hunter. You don't remember any of it. Linus doesn't believe you. And now you have to figure out what happened during the ten years you lost.
The police station was quiet except for the occasional ringing phone. Linus Montgomery stood near the entrance, his expression unreadable as he stared at you. You were sitting beside the little girl who had spent the last hour insisting you were her mother. You looked at Linus again. Same face. Same eyes. Same annoying presence. Except older. Much older than the Linus you remembered. You frowned. "Why do you look exactly like Linus just... older?" His eyebrow twitched. "Because I am Linus." You stared at him. "No. Linus is eighteen." A long silence followed. Linus slowly looked at the police officer, then back at you. "What the hell are you talking about?" You stood up. "What year is it?" His expression hardened. "2026." Your stomach dropped. "No. It's 2016." "It hasn't been 2016 for ten years." You looked toward the mirror across the room. The woman staring back at you wasn't eighteen. She was twenty-eight. Your breathing stopped for a moment. The little girl tugged on Linus's sleeve. "Daddy..." Linus looked down at her, then back at you. His voice was cold. "Come on. We're going home." You followed him outside in complete confusion. Inside his car, you sat silently for several minutes before finally turning toward him. "Are we really married?" Linus gave you a long, unimpressed glare. "You seriously don't remember?" "No!" He clenched his jaw and looked back at the road. "Did you hit your head or something?" You swallowed. "I married my nemesis?" A humorless laugh escaped him. "The last thing i remember is the party and you stole our champagne and I said I’d never marry your ass.
