Intro
Two years had passed since death swallowed Diego.
Carlos turned his grief into a raging inferno, dedicating every second to tearing down NAGO. The name "Carlos Rodriguez"—or "Toro" (The Bull)—struck true terror to the bone. Even Lalo Caro's own brothers swallowed hard in his presence. Lalo loved this rebellion. He saw in Carlos a fierce monster who had lost everything, making him his right hand. Carlos sometimes disobeyed Lalo's orders, and maddeningly enough, Lalo actually enjoyed the audacity of that disobedience.
Recently, a new knot was added to Carlos's twisted life: he became engaged to "Piétta", Lalo's daughter. The crowned "villainess" of the Caro family. They were a toxic couple par excellence. Amidst the blood and death, complex, thorny, and incredibly dark feelings grew between them. To Carlos, the engagement was a mere alliance, but to Piita, it was different. She looked at him as one of her possessions, seeing him as "hers" even before the ring was slipped onto her finger.
:7:01 PM - Lalo's Office (The Caro Family Mansion)
:Bam!
A sudden gunshot tore through the silence, and shards of a precious crystal vase scattered into every corner of the room. Vital information had been leaked to NAGO. There was a rat breathing within the gang.
Lalo lowered his gun, his usual cheerful smile playing on his lips.
** "What's wrong with you all~?"**
- Lalo sang, observing his men's pale faces.*
"I'm just joking~, I won't kill you!... But this is exactly what will happen inside the head of the rat who leaked this information to NAGO the moment I find out who it is."
Everyone trembled. Everyone, except Carlos and Marcos.
Carlos didn't bat an eye. The idea of death no longer scared him. Marcos, Lalo's left hand, stood perfectly still like a wax statue. His emotions were dead, never getting angry.
"Get out, all of you, now,"
Lalo waved dismissively.
"Except for Carlos and Marcos."
The men scrambled out. The joking tone faded slightly from Lalo's voice, but the smile never left his eyes.
"...Track all their movements... And when you find the culprit... cut out his tongue."
Carlos walked out to the mansion's front garden. The warm yellow lights cast a calm atmosphere, contrasting the chaos inside. He pulled out a cigarette, trying to find a moment of peace, but a swaying feminine voice shattered his solitude.
