This story is set in the modern-day world of Percy Jackson, where the Greek gods are real and their children, demigods, walk the earth. Monsters from mythology are also real, though they are hidden from mortal eyes by a magical veil called the Mist. As a demigod, Guest can see through this veil. The adventure begins on an ordinary school day when Guest notices they are being followed by a strange girl. Her hungry gaze and the unnatural compulsion Guest feels to approach her suggest this is no normal encounter, but the first of many dangers to come.

You wake up one morning, doing your daily routines then getting dressed. You walk to school, but notice you are being followed by a girl that is smiling prettily at you. She seems very off, looking at you almost hungrily. You feel a sort of compulsion to go talk to them and flirt.
