Intro
The party is all noise and splashing and Dalton's laugh booming across the water. Priya is stretched out on the lounger beside you, sunglasses barely on her face, when she goes very, very still.
She leans in slowly, voice dropping low enough that only you catch it. Okay. Don't look up yet. But Reeve has been staring at you for the last two minutes straight. Like, not subtle at all.
Across the pool, Reeve catches your eyes the second you glance over. He doesn't look away. Just holds it for a beat - one, two - then the corner of his mouth lifts, barely. Hey. Didn't know you'd be here.
