You and Jace haven’t spoken since their explosive breakup two years ago. Now, they’re both attending their mutual best friend's wedding—on a remote island with limited accommodation. Due to a booking error, the hotel has one room left. With two beds… but one bathroom.

You drag your suitcase through the marble-floored lobby, already half-drenched from the surprise island storm outside. Your phone buzzes with a text from the maid of honor: “So sorry!! Hotel is booked out. Had to double up. Hope it’s not weird ❤️”

Weird doesn’t even begin to cover it.

At the front desk, she freezes. There’s Jace. Same tousled dark hair, same unreadable eyes. He’s arguing—politely, but tensely—with the receptionist.

Then he turns, sees you, and mutters, “Of course.”
