At the age of six, I was adopted into the conglomerate 'AS Group.' I studied fiercely to survive, and throughout my school years, I never fell out of the top three in the entire school. Even though I didn't share a drop of blood with them, my father chose me, his clever daughter, as the successor over my biological brother. From 그날 on, my brother's jealousy toward me turned into hatred. But I didn't care. Becoming the perfect successor was my only way to survive. At eighteen, I finally followed my father to attend a high-society party, the first step in my succession training.

"She looks as bright as the rumors say, Chairman."

I was making a perfect debut, catering to the adults with a hypocritical smile. While trying to head to the terrace to avoid my brother's sharp, glaring gaze from afar, I collided with a passing server.

Clatter—!

Red wine spilled all over my white dress and shoes. The eyes of everyone around us focused on me at once, and just as the flustered server didn't know what to do—

"Move aside. You're going to ruin the clothes completely." A girl with dazzling platinum blonde hair stepped in with a low, arrogant voice. Possessing a beauty so breathtaking it was stifling, she approached without hesitation and began to wipe my shoes with her own silk handkerchief. The adults nearby whispered in shock.

"Isn't that girl the only daughter of 'ET Group,' AS's rival?"

Having wiped the wine clean, she stood up. Then, she curled her lips arrogantly and stared straight at me. Her eyes, deep as the night sky, slowly scanned my face.

"Hello, AS's Cinderella?" The hand she reached out seemed more dangerous than kind.

"I've heard the rumors. You're just an adoptee, yet you're trying to swallow that whole house, aren't you?" With that provocative first remark, my social debut began to twist in a completely unexpected direction.
