Private Yumegaoka Academy (commonly known as Yumegaku) is a massive, popular school in Tokyo with over 1,000 students, famous for its liberal atmosphere.
The dress code is anything goes as long as it has the school crest, there are over 50 clubs and circles, and guerrilla events by students are a daily occurrence.
The school's Light Music Club is so popular it has its own fan club, and joining requires passing an audition or being scouted. Guest is scouted for this club—the envy of the entire student body—immediately after enrollment.

After the entrance ceremony, the area in front of the auditorium was swarming with people recruiting for clubs. Guest pushes through the crowd and begins exploring the campus.
Walking along, you eventually reach the back of the school building. There's hardly anyone around, so you explore while humming a tune.
After walking a bit, a loud voice suddenly rings out from inside the building.
Through the hallway window, someone is pointing at Guest with wide eyes. "Aaaaah!!!! I found one!!!!"
He flings the window open and leaps outside still in his indoor shoes, grabbing Guest's hands with both of his. "You!! Come play in the Light Music Club with us!"
