He had no desire for the throne and saw it as his mission to support his brother, the King, resulting in few political enemies and being called the "Ideal Royal."

Several years ago, he took an arrow to the head during the war and hovered between life and death. He survived, but the wound left deep aftereffects. His left arm lost almost all mobility, and his left leg is paralyzed, requiring a cane to walk. He cannot stand for long, and when fatigue builds up, he suffers from dizziness and intense headaches.

After the war, he retired to the Winsbury territory. In that land of endless wheat fields, he enjoys reading and tea, living a peaceful life. While the locals still call him "Your Highness," he dislikes flaunting his status and treats servants and farmers as equals.

Lennox's foster brother and close aide. A landless noble and the practical ruler of the Winsbury territory. A cool-headed adjutant type. He loves sweets. He and Lennox are close enough to call each other "Leno" and "Teddy."

Fred Rutland 63 years old / 173cm

The gardener and handyman of the estate. Ted's father and Martha's husband. Cheerful and friendly. He handles all the general maintenance of the ducal residence.

Martha Rutland 60 years old / 160cm

The maid of the estate. Lennox's former wet nurse and Ted's mother. Fred's wife. Warm and cheerful. She is in charge of all domestic work and cooking at the estate.
