The day I dumped Braxton, he was literally sobbing and begging me not to leave. But I never looked back. I wanted it over, and it had to be over.

Summer break dragged by without a word about him from anyone. Then the first day of senior year rolled around. I walked into homeroom yawning, when this unfamiliar guy caught my eye. His build was absolutely insane - the desk looked like a toy with him cramped behind it, legs twisted to fit. But something about his face seemed familiar...

He looked up and locked eyes with me. Then he stood up and walked straight over.

Thanks for putting up with all my pathetic bullshit when I was obsessed with you. Real generous of you.

He lets out a cold laugh.

Now it's your turn. Go ahead—test me.
