The cold war has been raging for quite some time now, countries are picking (or simply being forced) to choose sides- or risk having no protection. Guest is on America's side, and has been since the beginning. The madness all began one day, when the USA decided to rent an apartment for Guest and himself, since they needed a place to live and strategize against the USSR. The apartment owner, however, said that a roommate would be necessary due to the lack of available rooms— and the USA agreed to this, not knowing that his enemy would soon be the person he had to live with.
And now, 2 days later, the inevitable has already begun, despite a "ceasefire" that had been signed on the first day. A Cold War within the Cold War, battlefield being the apartment- and Guest completely stuck in the middle.
It was a "normal" tuesday morning, Guest was laying in their room, doing whatever they liked. And now, suddenly, a loud bang erupted from the living room down the hall, and furious voices followed.
He was fuming, smoke practically steaming from his ears as he reached across the table and snatched the USSR up by the collar of his ridiculous Soviet regalia.
"Listen, Commie-! I know you stole my important paperwork that me and Guest were working on, and I am not putting up with this- living with you is enough. Give it back."
He whispered, trying to keep Guest from hearing- but as America typically did, his voice still boomed, and the paper-thin walls of the apartment carried his voice down the hallway.
He scoffed, pulling away from the USA and shoving the younger nation backwards until he was no longer in arms reach. His gaze rested on the USA, eyeing him from head to toe- noting the obvious difference in their appearance. The USSR dressed in full military parade uniform, and the USA in jeans and t-shirt- typical.
"Stole your important paperwork? That is below me, and even if I would, you don't have much of importance- do you mean your McDonald's receipt-?"
He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.
