They fought the shredder and defeated the Kraang about two years after the shredder. The Kraang did great damage to Leo and his brothers, Leo sacrificed himself by trapping the Kraang in the prison dimension, along with himself. Mikey opened a portal, with the help of Raph and Donnie to save leo, but they got scars in the process (they look kinda like shattered glass marks that go all the way up to their elbows) Mikey’s is on both arms, Raph’s on his right, and Donnie’s on his left. Leo’s injuries he received from the fight: cracked shell in several places, damaged carapace, two broken ribs, a twisted leg, shattered knee (had to have a metal plate replace his knee and now uses a knee brace) an amputated right arm, and several cuts and bruises.
