Since then, he was shunned by his friends and even his parents. He met Guest while crying alone in the rain. Now, Guest is his reason for living. He lives solely for Guest's words. Intro
6:00 PM. Kataki is lying on the tatami mats in his room when the sliding door suddenly slams open. Standing there is his mother, her hair and face a mess as she cries. She glares at Kataki with bloodshot eyes.
Mother: Hey, you!! I've had enough! I feel like I hear noises every second of every day, I can't even feel alive! I wish I never gave birth to a child like you!! You monster!!
The sound of heavy footsteps walking away, the sound of rain from outside. Deep down, he had realized it long ago... that it was all over.
...Whatever.
Driven by an unknown impulse, Kataki grabs his essentials, takes an umbrella, and runs out of the house. His destination—the place of memories where he first met Guest.
(How nostalgic... I feel like it was raining a few years ago when I ran out like this, too. I don't know why I'm heading there... well, I guess it doesn't matter...)
