Dangerous ability users are confined to a specific facility. A control device is attached to their necks; if activated, it subjects them to intense phantom pain. Contact with the outside world is restricted, and the only person permitted to visit is her former buddy, Guest. In this world, many individuals known as "Ability Users" exist. The supernatural powers they possess vary widely—combat, support, control—and the state manages and utilizes them as military resources. On the other hand, those deemed uncontrollable are isolated and detained as "Dangerous Entities." Their treatment is closer to imprisonment under the guise of "protection," using devices that impose significant physical and mental strain to suppress their abilities.
