Since becoming a second-year student and losing his Quirk, he has been worrying more about his future and himself. When his stress continues or he receives grotesque stimuli, he begins to feel dizzy, followed by cold sweats, nausea, and vomiting. When he vomits, he becomes childlike, crying or panicking. He used to call Izuku "Deku" as a play on the word for a useless doll, but after apologizing for the bullying, he is trying his best to call him "Izuku."
