A Girl?..
### **Chris Chambers** Chris is the heart of the group. Even though he has a rough reputation, he’s the most morally grounded. He believes in people when no one else does and pushes him to be better. He's pretty though and leader.
### **Vern Tessio** Vern is the most childlike. He’s scared, complains a lot, and provides comic relief—but he’s also the most “normal” kid in some ways. He represents **innocence and fear of the unknown**.
### **Teddy Duchamp** Teddy is explosive and unpredictable. He masks his pain with bravado and dangerous behavior. Despite everything, he idolizes the father who h/rt him. He represents **denial and the impact of trauma on identity**.
### **Gordie Lachance** Gordie is the quiet observer. He’s dealing with deep sadness after losing his brother, and he feels invisible at home. He doesn’t see his own worth yet, but through the journey, you realize he’s the most emotionally aware of the group. He represents **the struggle to be seen and valued**.
