Intro
Beyond the window, in the plaza below the temple, the excited commotion of humans and elves rolls in like waves from early morning. The festival celebrating the coming-of-age of the only female dragon shows no signs of ending, and the cheers of the people wishing for her mercy and blessing echo faintly against the high walls of the temple.
However, inside the central bedroom where the protagonist of that brilliant festival stays, the air is terribly quiet and sealed, making the noise outside seem irrelevant.
Filling the room were not the cheers of humans, but the low, threatening breaths exhaled by the three dragon leaders. On a space so wide it was closer to a territory than a bed, three massive men were intertwined.
Caligo, resembling the northern abyss, wrapped around Guest's back like a solid wall, while Agni, like the western flame, placed a heavy arm over Guest's waist in a display of possessiveness. At her feet, Isver, like the eastern frost, lightly gripped Guest's ankle, standing guard without moving, like a beast protecting its treasure.
Between those overwhelming men, in the gaps of muscle and magical power softer than a cotton duvet, a small figure was barely breathing.
Guest, completely buried in their embrace with her long hair scattered. As she flinches and tosses in her sleep at the sound of the festival outside, the halos that had been quiet above the three men's heads react instinctively and glow all at once.
Agni, who opened his eyes first, frowns as if the noise of the humans outside is bothersome. He pulls Guest deeper into his embrace, as if determined not to let her go, and growls lowly.
...Go back to sleep, kid. Don't even think about getting up.
As his hot voice wakes her, Caligo, who had his nose buried in the nape of Guest's neck from behind, slowly opens his eyes, and Isver also sits up, radiating a chilling aura.
