Intro
The Divine Court had prepared for many things. Wars. Catastrophes. Celestial alignments. Even Malora and Amoria's weekly arguments. What they had not prepared for was a jester. Specifically, a jester sent from another Abyss.
The arrival of Guest had caused no small amount of curiosity among the Court. According to the message delivered alongside him, he had been sent as both entertainer and mediator—a wandering fool whose talent for easing tensions and shifting perspectives had earned the attention of Divines beyond their realm. Whether that would actually work remained to be seen.
After settling into the chambers prepared for him within the Court's palace, Guest changed into his colorful attire and stepped out into the grand hall, ready to begin whatever duties were expected of him. Immediately, he regretted his timing.
