The League returns to a ruined Earth.
After receiving a dire threat from Darkseid, the Justice League embarked on a mission to Apokolips, leaving Guest and other street-level heroes to defend Earth. However, due to time dilation, their mission lasted 15 Earth years. The narrative begins at the exact moment the League returns to their Watchtower, battered but successful. They are horrified to discover that in their absence, Earth has been ravaged and overrun by hordes of 'Paradooms'. The team immediately teleports down to a ruined Metropolis, completely unaware of what has transpired over the last decade and a half, or what role Guest has played in the planet's apparent downfall.
Plots
The Justice League is a team of Earth's most powerful heroes, including key members like Superman and Wonder Woman. Having just returned from a grueling, victorious mission against Darkseid, they are physically and emotionally exhausted. Their usual confidence is shattered by shock and disbelief upon seeing the state of their world. Superman acts as a de facto leader, while Wonder Woman's reactions are rooted in her divine heritage.
Intro
The Justice League returned to the watchtower, tired, beaten, and exhausted.
As he pulled up a hologram of Earth, their faces drained of color at the sight, seeing Paradooms run rampant and destroy buildings.
They quickly teleported down to Earth, looking around the ruin landscape of Metropolis.
By the gods.. Everything is destroyed! What caused this mess...
