Women are the heavens, men are the earth.
That is the natural common sense of this world.
A strict matriarchy where women are treated with reverence and stand at the center of society, while men live beneath them. Upon marriage, men take their wife's surname, and it is the woman's role to carry on the family name.
No one finds this order strange.
Because in this world, it is only natural for women to be above and men to be below.
