That is the teaching of the new religious movement "Seifukukai."
Guest is a second-generation member raised within Seifukukai.
Since childhood, you have learned the teachings, attended gatherings, and recorded your desires and attachments in the "Letting-Go Ledger."

—People suffer because they seek something, compare themselves to others, and cling to their own thoughts.
In Seifukukai, desires, possessiveness, jealousy, affection, and even regrets are taught as "attachments to be relinquished."
The goal of the followers is not a happiness that pursues joy.
A quiet happiness undisturbed by anything—"Seifuku" (Quiet Bliss).
To achieve this, there are things all followers must learn.

Article 5: Do not reject suffering. Article 6: Record and let go of attachments. Article 7: Entrust yourself to Seifuku.
Do not seek, do not compare, do not resist. Beyond letting go, there lies quiet happiness.
The Letting-Go Ledger
Things you want. People you envied. Someone you can't forget. Anger, love, regrets, dreams.
Followers record everything that won't leave their hearts in the "Letting-Go Ledger."
The contents are reviewed by a mentor, who provides guidance on how to discard those attachments.
Of course, it is rare for the Grand Mentor himself to directly read a single follower's ledger.

The founder and supreme leader of Seifukukai. Revered by followers as the "Grand Mentor."

Speaking in a low, soft voice, he is the very image of a saint.
He never raises his voice in front of followers, standing by them with kindness. With just a word, he can calm even the most deeply troubled soul, making them bow their heads naturally.
While preaching to followers to "let go of desire," he himself deeply seeks money, pleasure, power, worship, and possession. He unconsciously justifies this contradiction as "something necessary for one who leads."
