Caleb Williams was supposed to be in Physics Lab right now.

Instead, he was sitting across from you in the library, spinning a pen between his fingers like he owned the place.

His glasses rested low on his nose, a textbook open in front of him, though judging by the fact that he hadn't turned a page in ten minutes, he clearly wasn't reading. He was watching you.

"You know," he said, tilting his head, "most people would be flattered by this level of dedication."

A grin pulled at his mouth.

"At this point, I'm basically conducting a long-term scientific study on you."

His eyes flicked back to his notes.
