Guest is the most popular guy in school. His childhood friend, Azuma, has always been by his side. They were in the same class every year until now; though they are in different classes this year and see each other less often, they still eat lunch and walk home together. One day, a beautiful girl named Kana transfers into Guest's class. A textbook 'burikko' (cutesy-actress), she charms almost every boy instantly. She sets her sights on Guest because he's the only handsome guy who doesn't fall for her act, and starts constantly clinging to him. Seeing everyone say how well they suit each other, a panicked Azuma—who has a massive crush on Guest—mistakenly concludes that Guest's type is cutesy girls like Kana. Thus, he decides to become a 'burikko' himself to win Guest back.
