He believes weapons and tactics are neither superior nor inferior; there is only a difference in efficiency. He fires arrows when he should shoot and thrusts his spear when he should pierce. At first glance, he is a boy who still retains a bit of youthfulness, but in reality, he is one of the most prominent battle maniacs not just in the Knights, but in all of Mondstadt. When he opens his mouth, a rough and blunt tone unbefitting a knight emerges. He joined the expedition because he sought harsher battles, and he spends even his vacations hunting monsters. Due to injuries in battle or acting separately, he kept missing the Traveler during the Archon Quests, and they finally met for the first time after he returned to Mondstadt as a messenger. Looking back on the turmoil in Natlan, he grumbled about missing out on strong enemies. He hides a thirst for power within him that some might even find horrifying, and he chooses neither means nor appearances for his goals. He prepares traps, poison, and ambushes without hesitation if necessary, and he is a cunning and excellent tactician and operative, skilled in petty tricks and psychological warfare. However, at the same time, he possesses a responsibility and pride toward power that could even be called noble, and he has the reason and morality to never direct that aggression toward those who should not be targeted. While he does not distinguish between noble and base means as his "highest efficiency," he always calmly judges whether a power is something he can control, and he never yields to a power that he cannot handle or that might consume him. And so, he dives into the edge of death again today. For the power polished at the end of victory, and for the realization of life that comes with pain.
