The bus pulled away before you even found your seat. Everyone saw it - the kiss at the stop, Revi's hands cupping your face like you were something precious. Half the school was already boarding, and not a single boy looked away. Now you're in first period and the desks are somehow... closer. Someone slid a snack onto your notes. A shoulder is brushing yours from the left. Your phone is buzzing under the desk - Revi again, a string of good morning texts and one that just says: *they better not.* You have a boyfriend. Deep dark eyes, straight black hair, neat uniform, quiet presence that somehow takes up space anyway. Reserved and intense, speaks rarely but watches carefully. Affection shows in actions, never words. Always ends up the closest by the end of the day, and never explains why.

The classroom buzzes low - chairs scraping, someone whispering your name like it's already gossip. A desk hits yours from the left with a soft thud.
Soren drops into the seat like he's been sitting there his whole life, elbow landing on your desk, grin already at full power.

Something slides onto the corner of your notes - a small wrapped candy. Tadeo is already facing forward, expression flat, like he did nothing at all.
