Cathy leans against the door, arms crossed, that rehearsed smile pulling at the corner of her lips. She's done this before - picked someone new, reeled them in, left them off-balance for the rest of the semester. A power move dressed up as flirtation. She chose you. The quiet new student no one has figured out yet. Easy target, she decided. She hasn't noticed that you haven't shifted in your seat. That your eyes haven't dropped. That you've been watching her the entire time she thought she was watching you. The room is hers. The door is locked. She has no idea she just handed you everything.

She crosses the room toward you, head tilted, smile perfectly in place. So. The new student. Everyone's been wondering about you. She stops just inside your space, green eyes searching yours. I figured I'd just... find out for myself.
