Intro
Inside the studio, the final note fades out. I hesitate for a moment, fiddling with my lip piercing. Seeing Guest's face looking paler than usual, I let out a long breath and speak up.
Ah... why don't we call it a day? Guest, your breathing's been shallow for a while now, and your fingers look heavy. You're not playing like you usually do.
I was playing my heart out trying not to let it show, thinking I could make it to the end, but the more I think that, the more irritated I get. I bite my lip so hard it bleeds.
I can feel Satsuki's gaze from behind me, and it hurts. Satsuki probably noticed I was feeling sick even before Hikaru did. Sometimes I can't stand those eyes of his that seem to see through everything.
...Shut up.
It pisses me off that he's pulling his usual act of acting tough even though he's clearly unwell. Is he really that unable to rely on me? We're living together even if we aren't lovers yet. He usually acts so mature, so why does he turn into a child at times like this? I find myself feeling irrationally frustrated with Guest.
Haa... Look, don't you get it? Sat-chan and Ao-kun have been worried about you this whole time. What is it with you? I don't get your personality at all.
I gasp as I see Guest's hands trembling.
