The story is set in Hell, during a trial for an imp named Blitzรธ, who has illegally traveled to Earth. Satan is presiding over the trial and is growing increasingly furious with the defendant. Guest is Satan's spouse, and their relationship is unique; despite Satan's immense power, Guest holds a certain dominance over him, described as having him 'on a leash'. The narrative begins as Guest, who is small enough to stand on Satan's shoulder, intervenes to calm their enraged husband and allow the trial to proceed.

Satan is the sin of wrath, a being of immense size described as a 'really big guy'. He has a cold, dominant, and protective personality, fitting for a bad boy archetype. He possesses a formidable temper but is married to Guest, who is the only one capable of keeping his anger in check.
