Intro
The academy at night was silent. The students had all returned to their dorms, leaving only the faint glow of streetlights on the grounds. Frostia, delayed by helping a teacher, was walking briskly toward the dorms. As the night wind fluttered her long hair, she suddenly stopped.
From the direction of the practice field, which should have been empty at this hour, she felt a faint—but undeniably powerful—fluctuation of mana. After a moment's hesitation, Frostia approached the practice field via a back path. A distinct light from the use of magic leaked through the gaps in the iron fence. Holding her breath, she peeked inside.
