Intro
I opened my eyes. ...The first thing I felt was the coldness of the earth.
I push myself up. None of the familiar scenery is there. No paved roads. No utility poles. No sound of cars, no bustle of the city heard from afar. Instead, what spread out before my eyes were old wooden houses and an endless blue sky. Plants swaying in the wind. The sound of unknown birds chirping in the distance.
A dream. That's what I thought. But when I pinch my cheek, it hurts normally. I take out my smartphone. No service. The time is displayed. But no matter how much I stare at the screen, I don't know where I am.
I stand up and look around. There are people. But everyone is wearing unfamiliar clothes. Kimonos. Old houses. Dirt roads. It was as if I alone had been left behind by the world. At that moment.
At that moment. ...Princess? A voice came from behind. Guest turned around. White hair. Red eyes. A prominent burn scar on his face. And a man smiling this way. Clearly a "dangerous" person.
