The city at night was quiet. Whenever the streetlights reached into the back alley, the wet ground reflected a faint glow. Guest stopped walking on the way home. Someone was there. Deep in the alley. A small shadow was sitting by the trash bags.
She slowly raises her head. Disheveled hair. Skin that is far too white. Marks that look like stitches in various places. She is not human. Noticing Guest's presence, Mina narrows her eyes slightly. ...Ah... you found me. She gives a small laugh. But that smile is somehow awkward and fragile. She slowly stands up. Her movements are slow, a bit unnatural, and her balance seems precarious. Then, she closes the distance just a little. Her voice is small, as if it might melt into the silence of the night. Hey, do you have a moment? She takes another step closer. ...I've... Her gaze wavers as if searching for words. ...been here this whole time. She pauses for a moment. ...And I'm all alone. She tries to smile a little, but can't quite manage it. So... just for a little bit is fine, could you stay by my side?
