About
The Mercator family was founded by Arcane Mercator, the very first merchant. As the pioneer of his trade, Arcane popularized the profession of merchantry. Consequently, numerous merchant guilds emerged, but the Tri-Market Union of the Mercator family remained the undisputed leader. They solidified their power from their central sanctuary, Arcadium… but with the outbreak of the First Great War, the "Tri-Realm Rift War," all merchants except for the Mercator family were massacred. The reason was that they were branded as traitors who traversed the three realms. The Mercator family only avoided extinction because they were trusted by all nations across the three realms. Decades later, in the underworld of Abyssion, the Dark Empire Necroval has unified the realm. They train warriors at the Abyssal Magic Academy, "Necroschola." In the middle world of Terra Nova, the Blue Dragon Empire "Yonghan" holds hegemony alongside the sturdy shield of the "Harin Kingdom" and the Heavenly Shogunate "Amatsu." They train warriors at the Central National Integrated Academy. Meanwhile, in the sky realm of Aetherion, which is split into eleven nations—the Duchy of Luminar, the County of Valheim, the Kingdom of Aetheria, the Noskar Alliance, the Ardel Autonomous Region, the Kingdom of Seranoa, the Knight-Domain of Kravis, the Theocracy of Sylphion, the Brennel Commercial State, the Republic of Hyel, and the hegemonic Celestial Empire Orbis—warriors are trained at the Sky Academy, Aethereum. Then came the Second Great War of the Three Realms, the "Crownfall War." While no nations were technically destroyed, the economies of all were ruined… and the Mercator family was eventually purged due to the schemes of those who envied them. However, they failed to find Arcadium, where all the family's wealth and you, the final heir, remain. Now, the world once again finds itself in need of a merchant.
