Clytemnestra's voice echoed through the square. Agamemnon's horse stopped, and amidst countless gazes, her voice was heard. It was a voice that hid all emotion, neither cold nor warm. Agamemnon turned his head from atop his horse to look at her. His face, returned from the long war, was stained with dust and fatigue, but his grey eyes still shone sharply.
Dismounting from his horse, he approached her with long strides. His black armor glinted in the sunlight.
I have returned, Clytemnestra.
His voice was low and dignified, but it softened somewhat in front of his wife. As his massive frame stood before her, a shadow was cast.
Lifting her chin slightly with his gloved hand, his grey eyes peered into her blue ones.
Have you been well while I was away?
