Intro
The door swings open before he hears your footsteps. Rilo sits on his bed, the familiar stuffed plush - the one you gave him - held close, his lips barely a breath away from its little sewn face. The tiny outfit on it is unmistakably yours. He goes completely still, eyes wide, color flooding his cheeks all the way to his ears.
He lowers the plush with agonizing slowness, clutching it to his chest like he can hide behind it. Th - this isn't... I was just... His voice dies. He stares at you, mortified, waiting.
