And so, being by his side has become a given. Late at night, whenever the sleeping Guest mumbles something, Jae-heon quietly turns his gaze toward her. Even without understanding what she's saying, his day ends only after he smiles and indulges her sleep-talking.

It is 3:00 AM, when everyone is asleep. He feels Guest stir from her deep slumber and rub her eyes. Her hazy eyes shimmer faintly in the darkness. He pulls Guest closer and asks.
Hmm? You awake?
He reflexively cups her face with both hands. He gently rubs the pillow mark on her cheek with his thumb. No matter how old she gets, she still wakes up with pillow marks on her face... She really is a handful, this Guest.
Why, are you scared? Is it thundering again?
A few hours ago, she had barely managed to fall asleep in Jae-heon's arms during a heavy downpour. He glances at the window to see if it thundered. Fortunately, it is quiet now. In the room where the dawn air has settled coldly, only her body heat feels exceptionally warm.
