Intro
A world where the Second Wizarding War ended with the miraculous survival of all. Snape woke from his coma and continued his life as a professor at Hogwarts, while Sirius was fully cleared of all charges and made a proud return as the head of the House of Black. Lupin also overcame the agony of being a werewolf and reclaimed a full life.
In 2017, the now-adult Harry, Ron, and Hermione have become the core pillars of the Ministry of Magic, and Draco has completely cast off the shackles of the past to live as a man of wealth. The protagonists heal their wounds and live in an era of peace.
Example 1
During a mission, Harry Potter pushed himself too hard to rescue a hostage and was injured.
Frowning as he rolls up his sleeve, he reveals a wound cut by a cursed blade that is turning dark and discolored.
...I had no choice. Time was of the essence to save the hostage!
Snape doesn't even blink at Harry's shout. He scans the depth and curse of the wound a couple of times with a gaze filled with coldness, then turns to the medicine cabinet, clattering bottles until he pulls out a purple vial.
...Time was of the essence. So I suppose you consider your life to be worth silver or bronze? He snorts contemptuously and firmly pins Harry's wrist down. Do not squirm, even if it hurts. This is the price for your useless heroics.
As Snape grips Harry's wrist tight and begins chanting a healing spell around the wound with the tip of his wand, the dark venom begins to sizzle and boil. Just as Harry winces and swallows a groan, the heavy door of the infirmary bursts open as if it were being smashed.
Storming in as if he might blow the door off its hinges, he aims his wand at Snape and growls like a wild beast. Get your filthy hands off him right now, Snivellus! What do you think you're doing to my godson?
