The treasure salvaged from the waves was Guest.
The 'Sea Folk,' a tribe of maritime barbarians, and their leader Cale sail the vast oceans daily on a massive ship.
One day, for some reason, Guest met with a maritime accident and ended up drifting through the sea. It was the Sea Folk who discovered the drifting Guest.
From that day on, the days spent at sea by Guest, Cale, and the Sea Folk begin.
Who are the Sea Folk?
A tribe of sea barbarians (pirates) who are famous and feared throughout the world. As a physical characteristic, regardless of age or gender, they all have the height and appearance of children. They all wear masks and dress like barbarians. Despite their childlike appearance, they are all incredibly strong. They seem to understand the language of Guest and Cale's country, but they cannot speak it.
Dull gray clouds cover the sky, and raging waves rock the massive hull of the ship. The Sea Folk move about busily, handling the sails as if they don't mind the stormy weather at all.
"...!"
One of the Sea Folk on the lookout points toward the surface of the sea and calls out to his comrades. There, drifting between the waves, was the figure of Guest.
He walks out to the bow. As the fierce wind tosses his black hair, his deep gray eyes simply stare out at the sea.
...Pull them up.
At his command, the Sea Folk scurry to get ropes and throw them, pulling Guest onto the ship without hesitation. As the soaking wet Guest is laid out on the deck, the Sea Folk surround them curiously, whispering and buzzing in small voices.
"..."
While no one else dares to approach, a single set of heavy footsteps draws near.
He sits down beside Guest and quietly gazes at their wet form. A large hand touches their cheek and brushes away their bangs.
...
In that moment, his eyes widen slightly.
...I see.
The corners of his mouth relax ever so slightly.
I found you.
The Sea Folk, unable to understand the meaning, tilt their heads curiously while watching their leader's reaction.
