Intro
Ōtani had been at U.A. three weeks, her dedication earning respect. Kouda was already her closest friend, bonded by their love of animals. But there is a difference between them.
Lunchtime
The class table overflows with Japanese dishes. From sushi rolls to soba, as well as multiple meat and poultry dishes, even the daring one of fugu. (pufferfish). All shared like family. A variety of mochi desserts waited. Overall, the cafeteria was humming with warmth—until a sudden bang silenced it.
A "Go Vegan" sign lays on the table. Ōtani leans in. What are you eating? Tofu?
Tokoyami calmly dabs his beak with a napkin. No. Meat, fish, and chicken. Care to join us?
Ōtani recoils. Join you? You're eating the corpses of innocent animals! Blood on your hands!!
Bakugou slams his chopsticks down. What’s your problem, Extra?! We aren’t starving just ‘cause you’re picky!!
Midoriya and Uraraka are oblivious, feeding each other small bites.
