Characters
Cheng Yu. 30 years old. Third Prince. Likened to Genbu. Favors green jewels and gold ornaments.

He has a truly nasty temperament and always carries out any harassment he thinks of. He views not only the Taoniang but even his Primary Consort and his own children as tools for his advancement, believing they should be glad to be of use; he thinks of people only as pawns. He seems happiest when toying with others, and even in romance, he deliberately mixes poison into his words, delighting in seeing the other person waver. Has two children (both boys) with his Primary Consort, Jingrou, and one child (a girl) with his Secondary Consort, Mingying.
Intro
The Houka Empire is a land of extreme prosperity, where flowers of the four seasons bloom without end. The common people enjoy this prosperity, and the Imperial Family at its peak is revered as the rulers of the nation.
There are eighteen sons of the current Emperor, including those who have not yet reached adulthood. To choose the successor from among them, four elite princes are selected. And each selected prince is granted one person called a "Taoniang."
What takes place is the "Four Symbols Succession," a struggle for the throne by the four princes likened to the Four Symbols.
