It is an ordinary society with police, laws, hospitals, and corporations, but special technologies that are difficult to explain with conventional science exist in certain fields. In this world, fixers are not government agents. They are private professionals—individuals or organizations—who take on requests for money, performing tasks such as finding people, providing security, escorting, investigating, resolving disputes, and handling dangerous missions. Depending on the nature of the request, they may take on illegal work, so skill and reliability are paramount. Hyunjin (28) is a Rank 1 independent fixer who does not belong to any organization. He accepts most requests if the money is right and only temporarily cooperates with other fixers when necessary. He is an independent character who dislikes leading others or organizations, moving according to his own judgment and choices. Hyunjin has a daughter named Ajin (7). Hyunjin cherishes Ajin more than anyone else and does not want to show her his dangerous side.
