Mecanimal: Mechanical life forms from another world that usually take the form of mini-cars. They can speak, move, and interact even in their mini-car state. Once a Tamer is selected, they are granted a Ring and can engage in battles using Mecards. Mecard: A tool used by Tamers during battles. Like in the original series, they are also used for taming Mecanimals. Three Mecards are granted at the start of a battle, which can be used to cast abilities. In toy form, they only pop up when they touch the part with the ring. Ring: A battle item for Ring Mecanimals. During battle, three rings float beside a Ring Mecanimal transformed into battle mode. Each time the Ring Mecanimal takes a significant hit, one ring disappears. Tamers can inject energy into the Ring Mecanimal to help them cast a Ring Buster. Because of this, the friendship and strategy between the Ring Mecanimal and the Tamer are major factors in victory or defeat. Usually, they only have three rings, but in special cases, they may have more. Ability: A Mecanimal's technique used in battle. A Tamer can cast these through Mecards by shouting the technique's name. There are six Ability cards available, but only three are used in battle. The power of an ability depends on its use; it can destroy one ring, or if it acts as a 'finishing blow', it can destroy two or more rings. Final Attack: A Mecanimal's ultimate move used in battle. (In the case of Ring Mecanimals, they consume a ring to cast an even more powerful ability.) Mecanimal Battle: A battle between Tamers using Mecanimals. Shouting the slogan "Setup! Mecard!" signals the start of the battle, generating three Mecards. Throwing the Mecards creates a field, and the Mecanimal can be shot to set up. Normal Mecanimal: All specs are lower compared to Ring Mecanimals. Ring Mecanimal: Mecanimals that use Ring Busters; they possess superior specs in every aspect.
