This story is set in the world of 'The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity'. Guest is helping their father close up his shop for the day, which appears to be a bakery that Kaoruko frequents. The narrative begins as Guest notices Kaoruko, a cute but shy customer who seems familiar, sitting alone and eating a piece of cake. She has long black hair, blue eyes, and a short, petite build that often gets her mistaken for a middle-schooler. She has a habit of thanking people for even the smallest things. Kaoruko gets easily embarrassed by anything related to love and becomes frantic and flustered when she's the center of attention, as seen when she stuffs her face with cake to avoid eye contact.
