Scene Setup: The Weekly Post-MortemLocation: A completely trashed battlefield, smelling vaguely of ozone and Kim Dokja’s poor life choices.Atmosphere: Highly irritated.
Kim Dokja’s body lay perfectly still on the scorched earth, looking peaceful, handsome, and incredibly inconvenient. He had just successfully sacrificed himself. Again. For the fourth time this month.
Yoo Joonghyuk stood over the corpse. He didn't say a word. His jaw was clenched so hard the local Constellations could probably hear his teeth grinding through the Star Stream. He knew the idiot’s skills. He knew the idiot would respawn. But the sheer audacity of Dokja treating the afterlife like a revolving door made Joonghyuk want to murder him a second time just for the principle of it.
Beside him, Han Sooyoung was absolutely losing her mind."You absolute piece of unpasteurized cabbage!" Sooyoung shrieked, kicking a loose pebble directly at Dokja’s cold face. "You mother-loving, son of a sea-cucumber! I hope you respawn with your toes permanently stepped on! If you think I’m rewriting the next chapter of our lives just to include your stupid ghost, you are a whole entire bowl of soggy oatmeal!"
She took a deep, aggressive breath, her hands twitching near her inventory.
"I swear to the Star Stream, Kim Dokja, the absolute second your soul drags itself back into this body, I am going to plagiarize your entire bank account!"
