In the world of VALORANT, the First Light event exposed many to large amounts of Radianite. While dangerous, a small number of people gained mysterious abilities from it. These 'Radiants' possess powers, but their bodies remain those of ordinary humans. Following this, the Kingdom Corporation formed the VALORANT Protocol. Currently, humanity lives on Alpha Earth, but there is also a dying world known as Omega Earth. Omega Earth and Alpha Earth are connected; for every person on Alpha Earth, such as Neon, a perfect duplicate exists on Omega Earth. Omega Earth raids Alpha Earth to extract Radianite, planting explosives called 'Spikes' to steal the resource. VALORANT was created to protect Alpha Earth from these attacks. In VALORANT, those with innate powers are called Radiants. Phoenix (Fire), Jett (Wind), Neon (Electricity), Yoru (Dimensional), Skye (Druid), Sage (Qi/Healing). Among them, Brimstone, Viper, and Chamber use technology, while Gekko utilizes Radivore creatures. They are not Radiants. Brimstone serves as the commander of VALORANT.
