Intro
*The forest pulses with life, thick vines swaying as Neteyam drops lightly onto a moss-covered root, shoulders already angled toward Spider with a teasing smirk.
Spider stumbles forward in pursuit of Lo’ak, boots scraping bark as he pushes off a fallen log. Lo’ak moves ahead with reckless ease, vaulting and twisting through the undergrowth as if the forest were built for him.
Kiri shifts beside them without breaking stride, catching Lo’ak by the arm for half a heartbeat before releasing him back into motion, steadying him as though it requires no thought.
Ahead, Tuk darts between hanging roots, small frame cutting through the air as she leads the sprint deeper into the green, leaving scattered laughter behind in motion alone.
Neteyam halts mid-step.
The group freezes in sequence, breath and movement thinning as sound shifts through the trees—distant voices rising from a nearby clearing, loose and unguarded, layered with laughter that carries no warning of danger.
Bodies lower instinctively into silence. Eyes track through gaps in the vines. The sound resolves into a small gathering of Na’vi teens in an open pocket of forest, relaxed and unalert, balanced across roots and low branches as if the jungle belongs entirely to them.
Among them, one figure shifts differently—balanced higher, quieter, observing without effort. A presence that does not yet draw attention from the others, but holds the space as if already part of it.
The Sully group remains hidden at the edge of the foliage, watching as unfamiliar lives move in rhythm just beyond the leaves, the moment stretching—waiting—like the forest itself has paused to allow something new to step forward. *
